Repeat Print Workshop - Block Printing onto Fabric
Saturday 15th November
10am - 4pm
The Art House
Throughout the day you will learn the skills to create repeating designs (which could be used for creating pattern matching fabric or wallpaper). You will then carve your design onto a printing block and the techniques for printing onto fabric - you'll come away with your custom printed fabric and printing block to continue at home.

Printed Pattern: Wood Block Printed Textiles

Inspired by the rich history of Sunny Bank Mills, this full day workshop will give you the chance to take a tour of the museum and textile archive and draw inspiration from what you find - textiles, artefacts or the historic building! You'll be using this inspiration to create unique printed textiles.

Design, Print and Make Your Own Lampshade
Fridy 1st May

Makers Mill, Keswick
In this full day workshop you will be experimenting with patterns, going on to carve your own printing block, learning the skills of how to print your own fabric. You'll them make your own lampshade with your fabric to take home with you, creating a highly unique piece for your home.
