Inspired by the rich history of Sunny Bank Mills, this full day workshop will give you the chance to take a tour of the museum and textile archive and draw inspiration from what you find - textiles, artefacts or the historic building! You'll be using this inspiration to create unique printed textiles.

Throughout the day you will learn about repeat pattern structures to create your own seamless repeating pattern. You will be carving your own wooden printing block and printing your own custom fabric to take away with you.

In this full day workshop you will be experimenting with patterns, going on to carve your own printing block, learning the skills of how to print your own fabric. You'll them make your own lampshade with your fabric to take home with you, creating a highly unique piece for your home.
